my name is claire gilligan and i'm a
freelance virtual assistant
as a member of evcom they've invited me
to do a one-minute interview with
so let's begin first question was
what is one thing you've learned from
the current crisis well i've learned
that nobody wins lockdown there is no
competition
running about who's the best at
surviving during tough times
in fact nobody wins lockdown so if
you're using your time in lockdown to
study that's great well done
it's also okay to sit and read and think
and not learn a new skill or study
anything that's okay
looking after your mental health is more
important than being in a race with
people on your social media
just be kind to one another can you
recommend a resource for us to check out
well i would recommend
two first one is the open university
have teamed up with martin lewis of
the money saving expert to create a free
money academy course it covers quite a
lot of things from
taxes to budgets to mortgages
pensions and a whole lot more it's
really worth checking out
and the other one i would like to
recommend is a book on health
it's called the obesity code by dr jason
fung
and it's all about healthy living what
to eat and more importantly when to eat
introduction for me to intermittent
fasting i'd highly check it out
what tv show or film or book have you
been getting through during lockdown i
suppose well i've done a lot of reading
during
lockdown and watching tv but also
re-watching some old dvds i had on the
shelf like game of thrones from the very
beginning
and the wire all over again including of
course some of the ocean films
uh as well they were really cool to
rewatch
what have you missed the most during
lockdown well honestly going to my local
charity shop i know we should all
support local but i miss having a good
mooch around
and picking up a bargain or two but i
also donate for my local cancer research
charity shop as well
i miss visiting my local cinema i know i
just said i watched a lot of tv as well
but it's not the same at home it's just
not so
there you have it there's one minute
with me claire gilligan i'm standing by
to help you
with my company standbyva.com hope to
see you soon
