[Music] you'll find chemistry everywhere you look around we find chemistry in nature if you look at the growing of the plants the growing of the trees chemistry is neither good nor bad it's just there it's part of everyday life i feel that we are responsible for the overall impact we have creating the products we make for our customers the biggest challenge for a chemist and for chemistry is to make sure that the chemistry that gives the desired properties you want to have in a material on a product ends up on that product and that it doesn't end up in the environment or in the air surrounding the factories where our people work and this is exactly what we want to do with our chem iq program we look beyond the end product we look at everything from the cradle to the end product i see chemistry as a force for good when it enables you to do things differently in a more sustainable way and when you're able to apply that on a bigger scale i see this as an enormous potential for good [Music] you
